Sweat ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use the Sweat mobile application (the "App").

• Phone Number: We collect your phone number for account authentication and login purposes.
• Profile Information: Name, photos, bio, age, gender, fitness preferences, and location preference (city/area where you want to see matches).
• Fitness App Data: When you connect your connect third-party fitness applications (such as Garmin), we import your fitness activities, stats, and related activity data.
• Messages: Content of messages you send to other users through the App.
• Photos: Profile photos and any images you choose to upload.

Information Collected Automatically:

• Device Information: Device type, operating system, app version, and unique device identifiers.
• Usage Data: How you interact with the App, including matches, swipes, and features you use.
• Push Notification Tokens: To send you notifications about matches and messages.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account
• Facilitate matches between users based on fitness interests and location preferences
• Enable messaging between matched users
• Display your profile and Third Party Fitness App activities to potential matches
• Send you notifications about matches, messages, and app updates
• Improve and optimize the App experience
• Ensure the safety and security of our users
• Comply with legal obligations

3. How We Share Your Information

With Other Users: Your profile information, photos, and third party fitiness activity data are visible to other users based on your matching preferences and location settings.

Third-Party Services: We use the following third-party services that may collect and process your information:

• Firebase: For authentication, database, and push notifications. See Firebase Privacy Policy
• Garmin: To import your fitness activities. See Garmin Privacy Policy
• Google Maps: For location services. See Google Privacy Policy

Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Sweat, our users, or others.

Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the acquiring entity.

4. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal purposes.

6. Your Rights and Choices

• Access and Update: You can access and update your profile information within the App.
• Delete Account: You can delete your account at any time through the App settings or by contacting us.
• Disconnect Third Party Fitness App: You can disconnect your Third Party Fitness account from the App at any time.
• Push Notifications: You can opt out of push notifications through your device settings.
• Data Portability: You can request a copy of your data by contacting us.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete such information.

8. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have different data protection laws than your country. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your information to these countries.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the App and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
